Creative writing club for 13-17 years

Calling all storytellers!

If you love creative writing and are 13-17 years old, join our new Writing Club at Matilda Bookshop to develop your skills, explore different genres and styles, and share your work with a small group of like-minded peers. 

Led by Georgia Perry Fisher, a qualified and experienced teacher of English and Creative Writing, the club will be meeting once a fortnight for 5 Thursday nights in Term 2.

Each meeting will involve activities focussed on developing a different skill, such as character development, setting, or experimenting with genre. 

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to showcase outstanding pieces of writing and make connections with other young writers in the community.

WHERE: MATILDA BOOKSHOP  8 Mt Barker Rd Stirling

WHEN: Thursdays 5.30-7pm. Fortnightly in Term 2  4/5, 18/5, 1/6, 15/6, 29/6

COST: $20 session or $90 for full program 5 sessions

AGES: 13-17 years
