CHARITY DAY March 2026

In March, our Monthly Charity Day, (Thursday March 12)— where we donate 15% of the value of each book sold in the shop and online to a charity or organisation that we love to support — will be in support of the Médecins Sans Frontières, who provide emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, healthcare exclusion and natural or man-made disasters.

Médecins Sans Frontières was founded in the belief that all people should have access to healthcare regardless of gender, race, religion, creed or political affiliation, MSF teams have cared for tens of millions of people since 1971. Since 1971, MSF has grown from a group of a few hundred volunteers to an international movement of more than 68,000 staff, providing more than 16 million medical consultations in over 70 countries every year. But the core values of independence, neutrality, and impartiality continue to drive our work. Médecins Sans Frontières exists to save lives by providing medical aid where it is needed most – in armed conflicts, epidemics, famines and natural disasters. All these situations call for a rapid response with specialised medical and logistical help. But, we also run longer-term projects, tackling health crises and supporting people where the need is greatest. We currently have projects running in over 70 countries.

Last Charity Day in February, with your support we were able to donate to the CFS Foundation who provide financial assistance when a CFS volunteer is injured or killed as a result of protecting our communities and develops initiatives that support the SACFS’s continued activities.
